ELF 50% off haul and review.

E.l.f is a brand that is very well known here in the U.K, Europe and the U.S.A. Renowned for it's inexpensive prices but great quality.

So, when they had a 50% off promotion last week, I HAD to purchase a few things. I already have A LOT of make-up and I buy from E.L.F frequently, so this time I just ordered six items (which was pretty hard!)

PRODUCTS (L-R) : Matte eyeshadows in 'Burnt Brown', 'Brick' and 'Chestnut'. Baked blush in 'Rich Rose'  and 'Pinktastic'. Glitter Primer in 'Transparent'.

I paid 50% of the prices listed below.

Matte Eyeshadow in 'Burnt Brown' 1.5g- £3.75

Natural light

Matte eyeshadow in 'Brick' 1.5g - £3.75

Natural light.

Matte eyeshadow in 'Chestnut' 1.5g - £3.75

Natural light.

Affordable and well pigmented matte eyeshadows are really hard to find in drugstores or online. So, I am super happy to have found these! The pigmentation, texture and shades are fantastic. Just perfect for this time of year and for warming up the crease when wearing a different eyeshadow on the lid.

I can personally vouch for all that is written on the back of the box. 100%!

They also come with a small brush, which I won't use as I have a lot of eyeshadow brushes!

The packaging and the size of the shadow pots are the only let down. The shade names nor any other details are on the products themselves. So, it will be tricky to remember the name of one of these (if you picked up a few) Remember to keep the boxes!

The lid comes off (as pictured) and contains a sifter. I removed the whole thing for photo purposes.

Baked blush in 'Rich Rose' 6g - £3.75

Natural light.

This blush is beautifully frosty (the finish, not literally!) and contains nourishing ingredients such as: Jojoba, rose, sunflower, apricot and grape to hydrate and condition the skin. Bonus!!

The texture is soft and creates a light shimmering colour. This is not super pigmented but i like it for that reason as it is tres natural.

The colour is buildable and I agree that it is long lasting. I will repurchase this one.

Baked blush in 'pinktastic' 6g - £3.75

Natural light.

I bought this shade with the sole purpose of using it as a highlight. The name is pinktastic and labeled as a blush. However, I would say its a light gold with a hint of pink and suited more as a highlighter due to the shade. I have used this as a highlighter and it looks absolutley gorgeous. As with 'pink passion' , it contains the same nourishing ingredients and it as the same texture and finish. I will definitely be repurchasing this for my go to highlighter! It's much cheaper than my current M.A.C one!

These blushes are smaller than I expected and as the eyeshadows, they contain no information on the actual product :-(

Glitter primer in 'Transparent' 10.5ml - £2.50

Being a big glitter fan, this was an obvious choice for me! Especially with the festive season upon us. This is transparent and similar is texture to a lip gloss but without the stickiness! This is really soft.

Before I discovered this, I was just wetting an eyeshadow brush then picking up loose glitter that way. That worked for me and the glitter stayed put. But, using this, when the glitter is applied over the primer, the glitter looks more dense and more striking. Best of all, it didn't interfere with my eyeshadow. Yippie!

Again, I agree with what is printed on the back of the packaging. It is very lightweight and feels nourishing. It feels very comfortable on the lids and I experienced less fallout that usual.

It contains shea butter and jojoba to nourish and protect the delicate eye area!

A must for this time of year girls!
